During the season, the team participated in the Glenbrook North Tournament where 3 team members became champions. They were Bill Latoria 61191, Tony Grano l167D and Ben Alexandria KHWTJ. During Christmas vacation, the sopho- mores managed to take 2nd place in the Waukegan Holiday Tournament. Smith, Coach Bob Brown. Varsity Gymnastics The Varsity Gymnastics team held together very well through its toughest year. There were only 4 seniors on this year's team. The main part of last year's team had graduated and left an almost new varsity team. Norm Frey and joe Ecker were the team captains. Steve Davi- son and Ken Glassman were consistently high scorers and most valuable to the team. The team finished the season with a conference record of 1-5. LEFT: Ken Glasman on the parallel bar.
