The team, however, earned a respectable 4-3 conference record, and a 4th place finish. Five members were all-conference selec- tions. They were sophomores Rick Almada C983 and Ed Perry 11053, seniors Carter Coleman 41553, Ray Greeley C1853, and lim Paterob KHWT3. Ray Greeley was not only a conference champion, but a district champion, sec- tional champion, and went on to place 4th in the state. During Christmas vacation, the sopho- mores managed to take 2nd place in the Waukegan Holiday Tournament.
