French Club The purpose of French Club is to promote interest in the French language and help build a better under- standing of the people, customs and culture of France. Concert Band Concert band, under the direction of Mr. Idaszak, was very active this year. During the football season, band students performed half-time shows that re- quired a great amount of hard work. The marching band also participated in the Columbus Day Parade on State Street. Their annual winter and spring concerts were performed along with an appearance at Mann- heim lr. High School. In the spring, the marching band traveled to Holland, Michigan to particpate in the famous Tulip Festival.
