UUUJUTU AST year s operetta was a Gxlbert and Sull1van Product1on ent1tled H M S Pmafore It was presented by the Semor chorus under the d1rect1on of Mr Ryan who was asslsted by Mlss Straley All of the faculty gave a helpmg hand 1n pro ductlon The leads were played by Sara Jane Brubaker Ronald Landls Raymond Wells Betty Landxs Glorla Holzhauer Denrus Beacham Edward Appel Harper Calloway and James Musser The accomoamst was Dor1s Burkms The plot revolves around a love affa1r between the Captaln of the H M S P1nafore and one of the Seaman A caste system lnvolved prevents the Captam from marrymg the one he loves The Seaman w1shes to marry the Capta1n s daughter but can't because he IS lower 1n class then she IS It 1S brought to a close by the dramat1c d1scovery whrch proved able to marry the one they love and everythxng 1S brought to a happy close 84 , .
