mmgmumm HEN we came back to school this year , we were greeted by sixty-seven fresh- ' man, who went right to work and elected class officers. This year as usual the class presented a very interesting and entertaining as- sembly. It was greatly enjoyed by the whole student body. The freshman took the long awaited trip to Gettysburg this year with Miss Straley and Mr. Wilson as their ad- visors. They surveyed the battleground and the monu- ments there. They also saw the Eternal Peace Light which was another highlight of their trip. We think that mention should be made of the work the freshman class put into the magazine selling campaign. Robert Howry, a member of the freshman class, was top salesman of the school and received a watch for his hard work. In every way this year the freshman class W - , was really on the ball.
