CAMER CL B HE Camera Club meets once a week on Wednesday and is made up of boys in the seventh and eighth grades. The objectives of this club are learning more about cameras, taking pictures, developing film, printing pictures and composition Qplacing subjectsj. The club is also planning picture taking expeditions to get first hand experience in the things they study. They also hope to encourage the participation of high school students in the national photographic contest. They ended the year by studying 2-inch by 2-inch slides and kodachrome. F.F.A. CWHE Future Farmers of America is a National Organization of farm boys studying agriculture. The foundation upon which the organization is built includes leadership and character development, sportsmanship, co-operation, service, thrift, scholarship, improved agriculture, organized recreation, citizenship and patriotism. The boys attend the annual leadership training conference, make educational tours and participate in other county, state and national activities. In accordance with the old saying, All work and no play, the F. F. A. boys have activities beside their work. Some of these are a deep-sea fishing trip during the summer, seeing a baseball game at Philadelphia, and watching a football game at Penn State College. The boys also had a very successful scrap drive in the fall, and by selling banjos during lunchtime earned enough money to show a very good movie to the student body.
