The county league championship has been held hy NVest Lafayette three times, the tirst in 1931-33, the second in 1934-35, and in 1935-30 the championship was shared with W l 38 I 11I'SLlW.

Much is expected from Scoop in the next few years. Other players of the squad are: MERLE RED BAKER, a hard worker at all times. He sank the basket that gave VVest Lafayette a tie for the championship. ELWOOD' DOC ROSS-a little guy, but a swell player. It was his foul shot that put the Orange and Black on the long end of a 23 to 22 count over Fresno. LESTER LES THOMAS, a boy who will he back again next year, and will be fighting harder than ever.
