IOQQCA .!4I !ff The Speech Arts Club, under the supervision of Mrs. Harriett Mueller, provides many opportunities for stu- dents to participate in oratory, dramatics, debating and related projects. This year several new activities were introduced into the club's calendar. A verse speaking choir was organ- ized and a play writing contest for underclassmen was sponsored. Several one-act plays were given for the enjoyment of students' parents and guests. Good Housekeeping , a three-act play and Broad- way hit, was the highlight of the year's activities. The play, presented on two successive nights, in Morton Auditorium, starred Iamie Iamison and Karlene Couns- man as a college president and his wife who became involved in politics. BOW l: D.
