Girls' Basketball V T at . Girls' basketball became a team sport rather l than intra-mural competition. It is now consid- ered part of the fall sports program. The season began in late September and lasted until Mid- November. There are two teams, Varsity and Junior Varsity. Beckius, L. Vega, K. Patterson, C. Fry, T. Christian. The gymnastics class which consisted of 7th, 8th, and 9th grade girls,was a great success in its first year at West. Through recommendations and skill require- ments we were able to have the very best gymnasts enroll in the class. From this class 14 girls were select- ed to represent our school.
