Miss Sheilah McGinnis escorted by Mr. John Flores. Miss McGinnis is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas McGinnis. She is captain of the West Jef- ferson Cheerleader Squad. Sheilah is a member of the L. W. Higgins Gymnastics Team and serves as president of the Girls Athletic Association. Mr. Flores is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest R. Flores, Sr. He is our Student Council President. John is also enrolled in the Co-operative Office Education program and serves as Parliamenta- rian of Future Business Leaders of America. She is enrolled in the L. W. Hig- gins Distributive Education program and serves as Treasurer. Donna also is a semi-finalist of the Miss West Jefferson Pageant. Mr. Lawrence is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Lawrence. He has been a member of the Student Council for two years and is presently serving as Secretary. Miss Annette Jones escorted by Mr. Brandon Williams. Miss Jones is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mel- vin Jones. She is enrolled in L. W. Higgins Stu- dent Practical Nurse Program. Annette served as co-captain of the flag team in her sophomore year. Mr. Williams is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Williams, Jr. He is the Senior Class Secretary of West Jefferson. Brandon has been a member of the Black History Club for four years and is pres- ently serving as Vice-President. He is a member of Future Business Leaders of America, Student Council, and the Sports Editor of the Yearbook. What were you doing when the lights went out??? Higgins Senior Class and a member of the Student Council. Mr. Permillion is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Terry J. She is enrolled in the West Jef- ferson Lab Tech II program and works part time at Delta Commodities as a student Lab Techni- cian. Mr. Boston is the son of Lt. Col. and Mrs. Ger- ald Wayn Boston. He is the President of the Sen- ior Class and a member of the Student Council. Andy attended Boys State. 70
