French Club Even though Mrs. Sanchez is not here anymore, the sponsorship of Mrs. Lill has made the Fran- cais Club a success this year. It has more activities than the previous year. Activities include a field trip on the Cotton Blossom, a picnic with L. W. Higgins French Club, Foreign Language Festival at Lafayette, games with the Spanish Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta. Other activities include a tradi- tional Foreign Food Festival, an Easter Fruit Basket for the old folks, and more. These activities give us a chance to get to know more friends and the French Culture. We would like to say thanks to Mrs. Lill for all the help. Seated. Varsity Quiz Bowl Varsity Quiz Bowl is a televised program which showcases exceptional high school students compet- ing against students from other schools. The program, shown on channel 12, emphasizes the positive results of the public and parochial schools in the New Orleans area. This year ' s team consisted of team captain Larry Bertolino, Robert Akins, Greg LeBlanc, and Kenneth Holland. Mitchell Constanza is the team ' s alternate. The team ' s sponsor, Col.
