The administrators, more than anyone else, determine the quality and quantity of the work of the school in all of its various phases. The efforts of the school administration at West Jeffer- son High School have resulted in providing unlim- ited opportunities for the desirable growth and development of all our students. The public school has often been referred to as a great unifying force in our culture. It is, aftcr all, the school's responsibility to meet the individ- ual needs of youth and make them competent to deal effectively with their problems and the pro- blems of society. By maintaining high scholastic standards in its program of studies West Jefferson High School is meeting this challenge. Miss Martha Rogers calls the parents of the students who Miss Tracy Gomes.
