Through the efforts of the members and Mr. Howard, sponsor of the club, the students of West Jefferson have seen such plays as the CRA DLE SONG, OUR TOWN, and AFRAID OF THE DARK which placed 3rd in A State Competition. The Dramatic Club has surely kept the high standards for play production which it T A itself has set during the years. 6 The main purpose of the Dramatic Club is to give any student of our school the opportunity to exercise their abilities in every aspect of drama, ' ' Anyone who is willing to work is considered eligible to be a member.

The entire group is divided into two teams, the Scarlets and the 'A X 4 thx Silvers, From each physical education class, two representatives are chosen, These twelve y girls form the Girls' Athletic Council. The president and vice president are elected from this ok X group, Throughout the session, the Scarlets compete against the Silvers in all activities, and '-N--' at the close of the term awards are presented for various intramural activities. x1 1
