D is for Dorothy, always dreaming of Alfred; for Donald, the Romeo; and for Dale, the smallest girl. E is for Elizabeth, whose smile is charming; and also Edward Roy, who toots the horn at the ball games. F is for Frankie, whose charm is in her hair. G is for Gracie and also for Glenn. They both have curls and expres¬ sions so pleasant. J is for Junior, one of the smartest; for Josephine, too, who dislikes her name; and then there is Jimmy, little but loud; and also John, known better as Johnathon. L is for Leslie, who looks so swell; and for Lois Ann, who thinks most¬ ly of the future. M is for Mary Louise, better known as Squeezer. ' ' N is for Nelson, the class provoker. P is for Polly, the class mermaid. R is for Roger Allen, the brains of the class; for Royce, the upside down reader; and Ruth, better known as Rooster. S is for Sybil, who refuses wearing lipstick; for Senorita, who is called Tap V is for Victor, the tease of the class. W is for Walter and also for Wayne: Walter Wheeler, known as Georgie; Walter Mann, sometimes called Walter Woman; Wayne Berry, with the pretty lips; and Wayne Bell, whose hobby is girls. Z is, of course, for Z. B. He is the basketball star of the class and of the school. (p«S !
