BUSINESS VOCATION AL The term “Cooperative Business and Voca- tional Education Programs” refers to a program of vocational education for persons, who through a cooperative arrangement between the school and employers, receive instruction, including re- quired academic courses and related vocational instruction by alternation of study in school and on-the-job training in a related occupational field. The basic purpose of the Cooperative Business and Vocational Education Program is to prepare students for useful employment in an occupa- tional field of their choice. The Vocational Department is participating in a new curriculum program this year. Com- pentency Based Vocational Education is a new approach to individualized learning. Homemak- ing tasks that have been identified, are tasks that each student should successfully accomplish by the end of their Senior year.
