This organization plans the school dances and entertain- ment and supervises the elections of class officers, ad- visors, Student Court, l3.A.R. nominee, and the Youth Council representatives. Through tl1S year you see him working hard at all games, plays and concerts, at special P.T.A. functions, and finally at the long-awaited graduation exercises. Slaving away, he takes tickets, ushers, and keeps an 'Aeyc' on all would-be disturbers. Finding material, charging out books and magazines, slipping and shelving those piles of books you return, and recording the fines you meant to pay, finally collecting the fines and taking care of these green library slips-these are a few of the duties of the girls in the library. Newsy Nos s ani New ideas and originality marked the members of this year's yearbook stall. To them the Annual represents hard work combined with the pride they felt as each day's work bound the pages of this book closer togetherg to you, they hope, it will always recall the memories of these past years at West. Under the editorship of Grace Matthews, tt large staff has worked since early in the Hrst semester. The 1946 book features a new name signifying a return from emphasis upon War to peace, specilically, education at West: a coverg 12 new pages. nlieeping these new features under their hats was a challenge all year for the staff.
