Art Exhibits Creativity Self-expression Mrs. Turley Art, in a sense, is a kind of magic: and the artist is the magician. He gives simple materials, such as paint and clay, dimension and meaning. Mechanical Abilities Are Developed Zzzzzl The familiar sound of skill saws was heard from vvoodshop. The boys learned to make blocks of wood into chairs, desks, or tables. Their skilled hands were trained to create new objects with the precision of professionals.
