A Word To The Faculty Mill Lucille Evans B.A., University of Tennessee: M.A., Columbia University Latin and Alqebra It would be impossible to express, in this short space, the gratitude and appreciation that we, the students of West High, feel toward our teachers, Our teachers, some of whom are the most influential people in our lives, hold the key to our future char- acters, for it is they who instill within us our knowledge cmd our ideals. Often we regard our teachers as watch- dogs, interested only in supervising our work and seeing that we behave ourselves. We ought to remember all the many times they have gone out of their way to help us and to guide us. We ought to remember especially, this past year when their loyalty and willingness to act, helped West through, what could have been, a maior crisis. Mn.
