The duties of these parents and teachers are centered around the students. These duties are performed for the interest and welfare of the students. The P.T.A. endeavors to make our school and school life more attractive. Among the many proiects undertaken by the P.T.A. was sending a representative to Volunteer Girls' State. I9

Q5--s Mrs. Wray Mrs. Wray, our secretary, works to sheer exhaustion to keep West High School rolling. She is guidance counselor, nursemaid, pisciculturist, general manager, lovelorn counselor, secretary, and general blotter for all ills. Mrs. Wray sets a precedent to the rule that no one is indispensible. Her friendliness, patience, understanding, as well as efficiency, make her a symbol of idolatry to students of West High School.
