There is promise of the morrow God will make it fair and bright. So today we see the gleaming Through regrets that we must part, And the beauty of the future And the hopes that fill each heart. All the years we spent together Mid the scenes we loved so well, Will remain as sweetest memories, Wrapped in youth’s sweet mystic spell. As we journey down life’s pathways, Still our thoughts will oft return, To the happy days remembered, When we strove life’s rules to learn. We go forth with firm endeavor And a purpose ever true, And our motto is Perfection” In whatever we may do. But though lands or seas divide us, We will ever cherish dear Our beloved Alma Mater, And her name will we revere. —MARY CARMA SCHUMACHER 1953 We are happy to extend to Westerdays our really sincere good wishes on their publication of the West High class book. We also hope each member of the Class of 1953 will wrest from the future his share—or more—of success and happiness. VAN DALE PHOTOGRAPHERS HOME, STUDIO, SCHOOL AND COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY.
