Thus it is teamwork that brings results in industry or on the athletic field in the American tradition ot one tor all and all for one. That is what our West High Wildcats were trying to prove when they fought through the T952 football season covered with glory as well as black and blue marks. For the second consecutive year, the drive and spirit of our team brought us the Fox River Valley football championship. Our greatest success of the season was the winning of the East-West game. Congratulations to Head Coach Frosty Fer- zacca, and his assistants - John Biolo and Pat Malone. Have you ever wondered who handles the business matters behind our season ticket plan? Or who distributed the tickets for every basketball game? They are Mr. Bowman and Mr. Delforge, the athletic managers. They see to it that there are men at the gates on the nights of the games to take your tickets, and in general handle all the business for athletic sports here at West. The team started out the season by meeting Sturgeon Bay, making a rousing victory of 78-35. They went on to win all ot their eight meets, each by at least 11 points. Maybe the most self-satisfying beat- ing ot the year was given to East, when the final score turned out to be 85-28. This was a season long to be remembered by all West track fans, by the members ot the championship team, and by Coach Ferzacca. Then before we knew it, it was time for basketball, volley- ball, and finally tennis. ln between these changing events were the annual Snowball and G.A.A. Banquet. Remember the big candy canes at the Snowball? You'll never forget that dreamy orchestra which was placed in the center of the floor in a big sled with reindeer flying up to the ceiling. And the Banquet! Everybody said it was the best one ever. Contidentially we thought so too. On the whole, the G,A.A. had a really exciting year. Thanks to Miss Mac Cormick for her guidance in our activities. We wish her the best of luck in the future since she will be leaving us this spring. SQUAD LEADERS ROW 1-P. Mihm, M.
