LEGEND With a wild Whoopee, a redskin dashes down the hall to beat the 8:15 bell. This scurrying hgure, our Big Chief XVahoo, is the school spirit of West High as he becomes involved in all activities of the Warrior reservation. Our reservation, Indian Territory, has been divided by our yearbook chieftains into two sec- tions, the Warrior Wigwam, which includes the classes, the faculty, and the more serious doings in school, and the Warrior Trails, which includes all the activities. In the XVigwam we find Big Chief Wahoo entering many a lively powwow. Our fine feath- ered friend is always cutting capers in the midst of club meetings, winding up streamers after the dances, racking up points at the games. and supporting the teams with war whoops and chants. While on the Trails, he finds clubs, sports, dances, and plays taking his undivided lndian attention. Whether in the Wigwam of learning or on the Trails of fun and frolic, Big Chief Wahoo is always sneaking into the scenes. And, finally, we find Wahoo quietly snoozing by the fire, rest- ing from his exertions with the '51 Warriors and anticipating his work with a new group of leaders next year.
