y In Memoriam RONNHE WITTEN BURK i934-i959 The students and faculty of West Hugh School dedicate this page to the memory of Mr Ronnie Wutten Burk who during the years l957 59 was a member of our teaching and coaching staff and who during his tenure here endeared himself an the hearts of all with whom he was associated Even though he had left our schools in the summer of 1959 deeply mourned by the teachers and students of our school The memory of his fine character his pleasant personality and his sincere devotion to the highest :deals of the teaching profession will always linger with us a splendid example of the best of America s young manhood We are grateful for having had the privilege to know and work with hum and reverently loin in seeking for ourselves his dear wife and his two little sons God s revelation of the lessons of life which He would have us learn from the one who has been so prematurely separated from us to ioin the staff of the Channelview High School near Houston, Texas, his untimely death in early October of l959was
