Treasurer, Swing and ' Sway Club, Handicraft Club, .-- J-'rr Troian Staff, Softball, Art Club . vt- f The United States Air Force presented a citation to Glenn Lightfoot November 8, 1957 at a pep rally. Glenn was given this citation for his brave deed preformed the preceeding January 26 when a light airplane crashed in- to the Brazos River about one halfof a mile from his home. Even with all of Glenn's efforts the pilot died enroute to the hospital. The citation was presented to Glenn by Colonel A.H. Snider of Randolph Air Force Base. Colonel Snider stated that in his twenty-three years of service he had never previously seen a citation of this type, because they are seldom awarded .
