During the early fall, the boys matched their cunning in football. As the year progressed, they tangled in wrestling, basketball, and gymnastics. Then finally they worked on ele- ments oftrack and field. The girls were not neglected in the West Physical Education program. In classes the girls participated in activities from beginning swimming to modern dance. Like the boys, the girls enjoyed after school intra-murals.
