Aclivilies in 'lhe boys' classes were composed of calislhenics and sporls, wilh 'formal worlc on every Friday. Among 'rhe aihleiics were fool- ball, baslceiball, sollball, wreslling, gymnasiics, swimming and olher individual and leam sporls. Such sporls as archery. swimming, lennis, hoclcey and numerous olher indoor and ouldoor sporls were offered 'ro lhe girls in lheir gym classes. ln modern dance courses, 'lhe girls acquired bolh skill and coordinalion. .. 3 Grasping for 'rhe ball are +wo boys in firsf hour gym class while others look on.
