Science Club meets after school on Wednesday of each week. Their projects include field trips, special speakers and entering projects in the Science F air. Junior Red Cross meets during club period on Gold Day. They promote the Red Cross drive, sponsor needy families at Christmas, and present a talent show at Vete- rans Hospital. l CHEERLEADERS We are the Pioneers .... The cheerleaders spent many hours during the past year working up new cheers, perfecting old ones, and attend- inq all the games. For the first time in the history ot West, five of our cheerleaders were juniors. Lynda Scott, head cheerleader, was the only senior.
