This is a scene from the Senior Play, The Glass Menagerie. jim O'Connor, portrayed by Gary Townson, recalls high school days with Laura Wingfield, played by Kathy Kirkbright. A , LET ME HELP YOU, LAURA. . . . Laura falls as she starts to run an errand. Her brother, Tom, Alan Latta, is quick to lend aid while their mother, Amanda Wingfield, played by Kathy CMelonieJ Hurst, looks on. 21

This year, the immortal 'lllarvey' put in an appearance OJ on our stage. Here joe LaSarge as Doctor Sanderson and Jim Wait as Wilson ponder over the condition of Elwood P. Dowd, played by Kent Shawver. 'NO, NO, A THOUSAND TIMES. NOI' . . . Granny Kathleen Kirk- bright watches with tearful anticipation as her poor daughter, played by Aurella Hurysz, pleads with the villain: jim Ballard. This is a scene from the one-act play, 'The Widow s Plight.' P.S. It was a melodrama! 20 1'2I.I'1'12l . . . As the time draws near for a production in dramatics, the entire school's interest is focused on the coming event. Mr. Rawley T. Farnsworth directs all plays. HARVEY, LET ME STRAIGHTEN YOUR TIEI' . . . Penny Fank- houser and Carol Peebles as Veta Louise Simmons and Myrtle Mae Simmons wonderg 'Is it him or is it me? As Elwood straightens Harvey's crooIced'tie, Mrs. Chau- venet, played by Marilyn Snod- grass, stands by to view the whole thing as an utterly im- possible situation. 'DESPAIR NOT, DEAR CHILD' . . . 'The villain will soon be out of our lives foreverl' Kath- leen Kirkbright puts forth an effort to comfort the poor child of the widow, as acted by Kathy Hurst. '
