While weekends and other spare moments of time were made to get a break from school, most students spend their get- away time trying to get ready for it. Homework is a daily routine for the majority of students. but for those who don't have any assignments or simply choose not to do them. there are alterna- tives . Part time employment is a reality for most students, The main benefit of course, is having the cash to buy necessities or extras . Athletes find themselves competing in events on the weekends and spending more time at school. There are also a variety of clubs which involve their members in activities and ser- vice. Other students enroll in var- ious lessons, music, dance, voice, requiring hours of practice. Partying, in any manner, is another way students invest their time. After a party. the best free time of all is spent catching up on sleepfi Working at S trums took up some of Senior Todd Peterson 's freetime.
