Reflections of Falcon Days and Queen Susie It began with the announce- ment of the queen candidates and ended with Susie's final walk to her throne. Falcon Days Queen, Attendants, and Court During the presentation aud, Spetember 24, the queen and her attendants were chosen out of thirteen candidates. Queen Susie Peterschmidt was crowned at the Coronation aud the following Wednesday with her attendants Deb Hambright, Kathy Knapp, Carol Nienaber, and Karla Trenery at her side. Queen Susie's honor court included Deb Barnard, Ginny Boom, Sally Cline, Tricia Griffin, Cathy Iensen, Gail Laven- der, Alma Petersen, and Io Quandt. The queen and her attendants presided over the pep aud, Octo- ber 2. With her entire court, Queen Susie reigned over the homecoming game against East Moline later that night. Although the Falcons were defeated, the spirit of Falcon Days rose at the dance the following night. As Queen Susie made her last walk through a passage of silence, the excitement of the week rose in its final climax. 4 gf' i ,V :G , -if ,Y V' A 4 'Jeff , ti ts k ,Mist ,,-, K, Karla Trenery Carol Nienaber Debbie Hambnght Kathy K Attendant Attendant Attendant Attendant
