E 1 Homeroom Displays Are Granted Awards In spite of the early date of Fal- ron Days this year, September 28 LOctober 30, ideas for homeroom displays and floats were for- nulated well in advance. Saturday morning, the weekend before Fal- ton Days, found students fever- ishly setting up their displays, hoping that theirs would be a win- her. A New World Is Coming, Falcon Day's theme, emerged in various humorous and original ways. With the title, Computerized Football Information Center, Homeroom 112 captured the sweepstakes award. First place winners were: most original, Homeroom 1095 most humorous, Homeroom 222, and most artistic, Homeroom 121. Hours of Work Pay Off m Division Awards During the Falcon Days' pep aud, floats were paraded around the gym in front of the judges, Queen Susie, and her attendants. Each float was required to portray the theme, A New World Is Coming. With the idea of Fred- die's Underwater World of Vast Resources, Aquesta flapped away with the sweepstakes award, also winning first place for the best student participation. A Capella captured first place for the most artistic, while Band Won first place for the most original. Other Winners were German Club, Span- ish Club, and French Club.
