Class ARTICLE I Let it be known that we, the graduating class of Iune 1940 of West High School, Akron, Ohio, having survived four years of hard Work here, are of sound body and mind. Hereby we do proclaim, announce, and declare this to be our last will' and testament in manner following: ARTICLE H To the faculty we will our troubles, study halls, and exams, but not our lunch periods. To the l2B's we bequeath our intelligence and dignity. Our line we leave to anyone who wishes to hang out his bathing suit. We, as a class, leave with Coach Beichley wishing Mr. Scheidt the best of luck. To Mrs. Hanson and the Glee Clubs We wish suc- cess and many more trips to Columbus, thereby creating business for the Greyhound Buses. ARTICLE HI The following bequests are made by individual members of the class: Evelyn Temple and Harry Lee Severance leave their fashionable Wedding to next year's Stampede bride and groom. tWi1l it be the Wagner and Phipps combination'?l Charles Seitz leaves the Lariat Office still echoing with his whistle. Audrey Shaver bequeaths her theatrical expres- sion and split infinitives to Miss Margaret Allen. Bob Graef leaves one half of his 6' 4 to Tommy Frisby in hopes that Tommy will some day grow up. 'Ieanne Lamb bequeaths her smoothness to Ianice Kennedy, Barbara Duncan leaves her sophistication to Lola Ieanne Albright. lim Mallen leaves - in time to get his social security. Lorraine Brodbeck leaves the Glee Clubs to worry about a pianist. Bill Self leaves Ruthie Ballard with regrets. Katie Buckingham leaves her chatter to Katie Meisner, and Phyllis Rubins leaves her giggles to Ierry McKenna. Chuck Griffin - leaves the freshy girls. Dave Heibert wills an alarm clock to arouse Mr. Miksch's physics class. To lean Glaze, Helen Conobre bequeaths her bright red lipstick.
