The purpose of the organization is to promote athletics throughout the school, although it has many social activities as well. This year eleven new men were initiated into the clnh. Four received their letters in track, and seven received them in foothall. The cluh, organized hy former Principal lf. L. Xlarting in 1914, has six memhers who were initiated two years or more ago. They are: Paul Tohin, three years: Harry Reilly, Horace Smith, Cyril XVoolcoclc, Gail Myers. and William Kneale, each two years. ln football the requirements to win a Wm are: to play fifteen quarters and Daft of one city series game: in hasltethall, to play in one-half of the games scheduled: in track, to score at least one point in the City Track lleet. The cluh held a picnic on llonday evening, Octoher 2-l, at l3rewster's cottage on East Reservoir. Coach Beichly, llr. Tucker, and Klr. Wveiss furnished most of the entertainment when they were initiated as honorary memhers of the club. Un the evening of -lanuary I3 the comhined hoys' and girls' NNY Cluhs held a mixer for a general get-together and dance.
