ROBERT BOLDT PRESIDENT BILL CLINE VICE-PRESIDENT .IANE LLOYD SECRETARY DIANE PATTON TREASURER page ten january CLASS OFFICER Although together for two years prior to our senior year, the January class of 1955 saw no organization un- til the spring of 1954 when Bob Boldt, Bill Cline, Jane Lloyd, and Diane Patton were elected president, vice- president, secretary, and treasurer, respectively. The first class meeting took place before school had dismissed for summer vacation. Shortly after school convened in the fall each class member was elected to one of the following committees: decorating, entertainment, and publicity, and class busi- ness was undertaken in earnest. An outdoor movie was sponsored by the class at the Miles West Broad Drive-In on October 31 and addi- tional expense money was raised through the sale of name cards, invitations, and collection of class dues. Our social activities were launched with the Mixer on December 2. As in the past an air of informality pre- vailed. The Senior Banquet was held on January 12 in the cafeteria which was followed by the long awaited prom in the gym on January 19. Baccalaureate took place on Sunday, January 23, at Hoge Memorial Presbyterian Church and our com- mencement was held on Wednesday, January 26, at 8 p.m. in our own auditorium. As we take leave of our beloved Alma Mater, happy memories go with us of those carefree days of learn- ing, playing, and of growing up, and we know that our lives have been greatly enriched within these walls,
