And to appreciate them . . In 1952 the Photoplay Club changed its name to Visual Arts Club to include the ideas of radio and television as well as movies. The highlight of The year's activities was the Candy Cane Ball held on December 13. Carl l-lartley's band provided music and those attending waited anxiously for Mr. and Miss Candy Cane to be announced. Mr. Candy Cane was Dave Caton, a West graduate, and his date Nancy Moss reigned as Miss Candy Cane.
