PRESIDENT DTVIGHT REYNOLDS SECRETARY JW dRCIA PATRIDGE ll W 1 1 3 -f f 1 -Q51 22 f l I ii,,grilii,,,1 VICE-PRESIDENT JERRY JOHNSON TREASURER anuarg The january graduating class ot 52 had a very busy and wonderful Senior year which started with the election of officers. The honored classmates were President, Dwight Reynoldsg Vice President, .Terry johnson 5 Secretary, Nancy johnson, and Treasurer, Marcia Patridge. The election of officers was followed by the ordering of name cards and invitations. Two dollars and fifty cents was collected from each member ot the class for class dues. In December, the Seniors held an informal dance in the school gym and later decided to sponsor an outdoor movie as their class project. The movie was held at Miles' XNest Broad outdoor theatre and proved to be a successful project for the graduating seniors. YV ith graduation day just around the corner, the class decided that it was time to be measured for their robes, after all, they were starting a prece- dent, for this class was the first January graduat- ing class at NNest High to wear caps and gowns. raduatui The long-awaited day, january 16, finally came into view, that was the day of the Senior Prom. The theme for the dance was 'KA Garden in the Raini' and to carry out the theme, each girl was presented with a small umbrella. The couples danced to the refrain of jimmy Lee's band and a wonderful time was had by all. Baccalaureate was held at the Glenwood Meth- odist Church on january 20 with Reverend Shell- haas officiating. Three days later, on january 23, Commencement was held in the auditorium of NVCSt High School at which time the graduating Seniors received their diplomas. Thus, the january graduating class of I952 ended their twelve years of school, some to con- tinue with their education, others to enter the business world but all ot them to have the fondest and happiest memories of their Senior year and VVest High School. ..-16, NANCY JOHNSON
