The students sat in suspense, wondering who the new queen would be. Jennifer Kelly. Mena Muldoon. and Tina Neal walked slowly to the stage .... There has been a disturbance.” the masters of the ceremony exclaimed: The name of the future queen, along with other valuables. was stolen from the West safety deposit box. Please! Don't be alarmed!” At that moment. Calamity Jane (Julia Fishel) dashed into the auditorium in hot pursuit of the villain-thief (Dave Gunderson). The villain was caught, and the queen's name released. Lynn Viebahn. last year's queen, slowly walked back and forth between the three nominees holding the crown in her hand .... it was placed upon the head of the 1980 Homecoming Queen. Jennifer Kelly. It was a beautiful ceremony with the new dresses and the colorful stage setting.

JOHN LENNON: 1940-1980 The dream is over. John Lennon’s body now lies in gray ash, unjustly killed at the hand of a gun. The warm heart of this musician ceased to beat at the beginning of his new life. The heart stopped pumping but John's powerful message lives on: No excuse exists for downing drugs: no excuse exists for mistreating one's fellow men. John will timelessly be remembered for his stand as a Beatle. but we must reflect on his stand as as individual in society. John involved himself in a lifeling battle for peace, justice, and goodwill throught the world. How utterly poignant that John Lennon died at the hands of a cold, hard gun. Why must the good die young? 18
