School seemd to be offering little excitement. Students were lethargic; anyone offering any sign of energy or interest in a subject was peered at oddly by the others. P. Schwob and B. Schlemmer got each other. You won’t get me. Snow was not to be found and below zero temperatures seemed to be a thing of the past. Still, the devoted Junior Board members pulled together their memories of those bright white Daze and set their brains rolling. A romp in the snow was planned for Friday afternoon and a D.J. contracted for the dance that evening. Monday through Thursday dragged by with no trace of snow. Finally, our prayers were answered; a flurry of white flakes floated to the ground just hours before the event. After romping, screaming, falling off their horses and soaking their chaps, the participants treated themselves to donuts and piping hot chocolate. The dance that evening wound up the entire week’s events with a blazing show of spirit. 23 Who’s got who?
