All are silent when Angela sings! With West’s first junior board ever at the helm, Sno-Daze Week was a “Fantabulous” and “Stylish” success. During the week, contests were held that ranged from porking down ice cream and popsicles to blowing bubbles! All during the week the junior class song sounded throughout the halls. Much talent was displayed at the 1978 Sno-Daze Talent Show featuring the faculty quartet, the Highsteppers, singers, jazz dancers, and a dazzling magic show! With the end of the week came the coronation where Deb Luker and Peter Schwob were crowned. The romp in the snow later in the day was attended by all ... and no one left dry!! Tummies were then warmed with hot cocoa in the lunch room. Friday evening set the scene for the Sno-Daze Dance. W’ith the juniors in the lead, soon the whole dance floor was doing the “Saturday Night Fever” hustle. Thus the week ended and only the spirited survived!!!!! 27 Miss Snowflake l oogies on down!
