Meeting friends and having a good time at the dance was easy! Dance To The Music The gym was quiet in the beginning. Soon, however, people started dancing to the great music of “Grand Central” There were many styles of dancing, but with the encouragement of the band, EVERYBODY danced! Some wore jeans, some wore suits, but all felt comfortable. It was a fun dance with a good cause. It was held as a benefit-holiday dance for the Curtis family, whose house had recently been destroyed by fire. 29

Starting On A Good Note The pop group took us around the world with “Yinklc Bells by using strange accents. The choir and pop group combined for a stirring split-level chorus. The stage band showed their talents by playing AND singing. We showed our talents by clapping and sometimes dancing to the stage band’s Beer Barrel Polka. The holiday concert was topped off by the majestic music of the concert band and choir. warming us up on a winter night. The gayly decorated stage reflected the music of the concert band. Maybe stage band members Wes and Larry should try out for choir! Legs and holiday spirits were raised by the pop group.

West’s Love And Death We all wanted to know. “Who dunnit?” Surely those seniors, our friends, weren’t killers! They were performing the drama, “And Then There Were None, and doing a great job of it. We chuckled at an occasional mistake or joke; jumped at the sound of a pistol shot and racked our brains trying to discover the killer’s identity. Four shows, three different endings, and two casts, kept the crowds entertained. Did the maid do it? It looks awfully suspicious. The characters all wonder who and where the mysterious “U.N. Owens arc. With a warm embrace, Lombard consoles Vera. (Watch those hands Rick!) 30 Emily preaches to Vera on the evils of alchohol and short skirts.
