the young generation enlightened the holdiay auditorium with a merry medley of tunes. we present holiday spirit contributing to a chilly, cheery, winter night were our choir, young generation, band, and highsteppers. they shared amidst us, their glorious voices, orchestral precision, and fancy footwork, all in the tone of a musical array of holiday spirit and joy. our lively young generation began the evening performance by displaying for us, their imaginative musical talents followed by our light-footed highsteppers. the evening ended with a powerful crescendo of sound produced by the combined abilities of our choir and band. adding a kick to the night, were the highsteppers. dancing to it's the holdiay season by andy williams. with their performance of jazz gloria , the choir and band, together, produce a well-arranged number. 22

fiddle tucked tight, mr. baxter and the echo trail ramblers prove that rock and roll isn't everything! kicking with hiking boots on is a little abnormal -everyone's watching kathy becht, even the wallpaper! we're going country style! i wish the jail would of had reclining seats ... it was a fun dance to chaperone . it was really a blast .. it cost four bucks if you took a varsity lineman ... euglena??? .. our sixth grade Virginia reel came in handy .. it was fun getting married for six bits in the biffy the sheriffs weren't quick enough .. the line was so long, that we needed another marriage booth .. it was good and rowdy ... it was fun to dance with the hockey players ... i ran out of nickels ... i was glad that all the candidates got a chance to marry people ... my date was a good kisser ... i was reel pleezed with daisey mae and marryin' sam ... we proved at sadie that we really know how to make a good time ... enough cannot be said about baxter's band — they made the night! the long l'ne f°r the marriage booth rang bells, but isn't living together the in thing? the new mr. and mrs. dan flanagan (alias: lynn tyler) make it official! 21

with disbelief, chip baker and kelly malone are crowned mr. the west high auditorium held the serene voices of sheila blizzard and miss snowflake by mary guthrie and Steve Cornelius. and kaihy singing john denver's goodbye again rompers jumped, toppled, tumbled, and collided on the football field during the annual sno-daze romp held after school for all westites. sno-daze sparkle on the class of 1976 showed the real west high spirit through a brilliantly performed sno- daze week, we proved that westites know how to take advantage of the minnesota winter — and bananas too! through thick and thin, through snow drifts and blizzards, we produced a beautiful talent and coronation auditorium, we took to the snow for our free-for-all romp, only to attend a magnificent dance to end the chilling night. 23 doug longjohn kellam and sheila longjohn dornbach eye their next prey. cheryll Oliver and sue kiel live it up to the sounds of the castaways .
