Meek Maids Drag Bashful Beaus Spiffy attire and wild stunts became the focus of attention as the candidates for Daisy Mae and Marryin' Sam were chosen during the morning auditorium. The beauty and the beast of the day were Katie Anderly and Tony Currey. West's hillbillies did their own version of the shipoopie and brought the curtain down. That evening everyone did the Ozark Stomp to the washtub band known as the Infinity's End. Adding a final touch to a classic evening, Ricardo Cavalcanti serenaded all with The Girl From Ipanema. As underclassmen relax, a friendly exchange of jibes ends in howls of side splittin' laughter. 28 Country bumpkins, senior Highsleppers and their nimble partners shipoopee to a swinging hillbilly tune. Whooping it up, Dogpatch belle Pam Meyer and her dashing beau play a quick game of patty cake.
