An Evening To Remember On a frosty September evening high spirited Westites entered the boy's gym to attend the annual Cheerleaders' Dance. As everyone entered they were greeted by decorative posters, streamers and balloons of green and white. Dancers rocked to the heavy beat of the renowned Infinity's End. Rollicking initiations and clever ornaments were just a part of the memories taken home that eventful evening. Lynette Loken decorates with streamers balloons and pompons, as the hour of Cheerleaders' Dance nears. Tennis shoes are great for dancing jests sophomore Cheerleader Cindy Conroy as she demonstrates the latest dance. Adding an exuberant sound to the Cheerleaders' Dance, the Infinity's End play a soulful variety of songs. 19

West High Breaks Tradition As Homecoming '69 altered tradition at West. The court was presented in full length formals during the morning auditorium. Then Mr. An-tholz serenaded the royalty with two songs. The afternoon program of skits, dances and cheers preceded the parade. At the Calhoun Beach Manor amid the sounds of the High Spirits, couples danced a finale to a most eventful and memorable day. S students, Martin litis with escort Ricardo Cavalcanti 2C Queen Janice Emery with escort Cary Sobotta T hrilled attendants cherish the warm applause of proud i ts, zealous students and sentimental alumnae.
