THE CLASS CLASS OFFICERS B. Swisfcer. S. Iron T. Chriitio. J. ShacUlford. Here it is: the spring of 1952 . . . and we, the seniors of '52, are graduating ... As we look back over our days at West we see many things which we will never forget . . . the football and basketbal! games, the carnivals and paper sales . . . and all that made up our three years . . . We will remember how we were once shy and unconfident sophomores, gay and carefree juniors . . . and how wc finally came to that stage that can be described by only one word— seniors . . . During each of those first two years we saw a group of students graduate from West . . . first the class of 50 and then the class of '51 ... and now it is our turn . . . we have achieved in scholarship and leadership we are now talcing with us . . . but the traditions of West we leave behind ... to the classes of 53 and ’54 . . .and all those who in the future become a part of West . . . To administrate the affairs of our class we have chosen Joe Shackelford, President; Theane Christie. Vice President; Sally Irons, Secretary; and Bob Swisher, Treasurer . . . The laurels for achievement in scholarship have been awarded to Carol Lind and Janet Stewart. Valedictorians; and Beverly Woo, Sa-lutatorian . . .
