Miss Maxine M. Baker In three-nineteen and twenty-one We have a teacher pert and smart. She seems to know what’s going on. And also teaches art. Mr. Richard Blomgren This fellow resembles one of the kids And typing is his forte. Bookkeeping's thrown in for extra time, While swimming is his sport. Mrs. Vera Braden When we wanted to skip, it used to be, We went to the nurse and played sick! But never again will that happen here ’Cause Mrs. Braden's on to that trick. Mr. Willis W. Bradley Bradley’s assignments are meant to be done And woe to he who would shirk! An easy credit will not be found here. Modern Problems is for those who work. Miss Gladys Chamberlin We always take our problems to her And leave much increased in knowledge. She arranges and changes our classes And helps us to choose the right college. Mr. Floyd A. Chandler Good old Doc.” He’s quite the lad! In history he can’t be beat— And who, that's had him, will ever forget; You can't grow grass on a busy street.” Miss Vora M. Dendinger You have fun in class reading Macbeth, You act out witch I” and witch 2.” But no loafing or shirking is ever allowed For only the A work will do. Miss Frances W. Ford She fusses with her pots and pans. Her classes are ambitious— They burn, they scald, but all ends well— The results are quite delicious. Miss Therese M. Gude Those red and blue tests were a terror, We crept by that classroom in dread. No matter how hard, the job was well done. That geometry stays in our head. Mr. Victor F. Hansen Here's a guy that’s really solid So we praise him to the sky. He cheers for us, directs our band, And provides music for all West High. 7

Miss Edith B. Hosser The library's a place to study and learn. It's used by both girls and boys. You go there to browse, read, and write. But you leavo if you make any noise. Miss Ruth Hill Miss Hill is a pal to all of us. Her teaching is of the best, Her acting of Shakespearian plays Will sure pass every test. Mr. Donald A. Houck Plants, animals, and bones abound In those basement biology classes. He's one of the best in spite of his tests, But he's death on little pink passes. Mrs. Kathleen Hyland Her stature’s petite, her attitude sweet, Well liked by all the gym gals. She looks like a student, never is prudent. The best of professorly pals. Mr. Ancil llstrup He sure knows his modern problems And he is liked by one and all, He's one super terrific teacher, But a li'l nervous in the fall. Mr. Lloyd O. Johnson A crew cut's the thing he has discovered, Quite short and sorta fuzzy. We all loved Johnson, but never developed The same affection for Muzzey. Mrs. Alice M. Kean She sure is a honey, on that we agree. Every kid in West adores her— Her radio classes are fun. os you know And oh, how our acting does floor her. Mrs. Jesse G. Martin She finds jobs and helps make plans For professions and vocations. We’re awfully glad to have her around To teach occupational relations. Mr. Dwight McLaughlin We studied our Spanish just like he said. But our minds are as dull as con be So we didn't retain it. and as a result All we con say is si. si! Miss Ora McLaughlin Miss McLaughlin just can't be on time But this habit we'll have to excuse. Her hands are full of Latin and French Besides getting all of the news. 8
