Quttn Pot Brown, Morjori Album, Pol Melons, Morcio Thompson, Pot Ryan. Corotyn Comaford, Roieanne B«llow». Queen Pot Brown ond Clellan Cord. Best in years was the unanimous opinion of students, faculty, and alums about West's 1947 Homecoming. The impressive auditorium, gala parade, and triumphant game marked it as a day we'll long remember. The program, with Clellan Card, as emcee, exhibited abundance of talent, homegrown and borrowed. The high spot was the solemn procession of royalty, the girls in green and white formals and their escorts in tuxedos. Queen Pat was crowned by Aquatennial Queen Pat McLane, West graduate of June, 1946. Led by the West High Band in their colorful new uniforms, the parade of gaily decorated floats wound its way through the uptown district and back to West where the awards were made. A perfect ending for the day was the rousing game with Southwest, won by our Cowboys who really did Skin the Indians.
