-L 1- - Exciting Game Hilights Homecoming Homecoming proved to be suc - cessiul this year as the liootball game, car caravan, car decora- tion contest, and dance were all held Saturday. September 28. The football game, which was played at the South High Stadium drew a large crowd despite our 7-6 loss to East High. The game was played quite Well, but just added to our 2-game losing streak. Hall time entertainment was provided by West's pep club, band, cheerleaders, and pom pom girls. Think Twice was the music played by the band with Mr. George Layton directing, to which a dance was performed under the direction ol' Miss Nancy Pollock. Other events included a car caravan which formed a pa- rade leading to South and car decoration contest.
