Student Council Creates New Activities and Ideas Maintaining high standards was only one of the goals that West's Student Council set up this past year. Stu- dent Council is good training for a democratic society and encourages cooperation between teachers and stu- dents. One of the many interesting and useful projects they participated in was Funspiration, a new type of dance, with games and dancing combined. All the proceeds from this dance went to charity organizations. During the summer, one of the activities attended by members of West's Student Council was Camp Cheley, the National Student Council Camp. Here the students learned leadership among many other things. MD it T CC
