LORREN BALLARD Head Boy Lorren Ballard, head boy at West, was elected by popular ballot to this position last spring. He has carried out his duties very ably, Lorren was West's representative at the National Student Council Con- ference in Toledo, Ohio. He also represented West at Camp Cheeley in Estes Park and at the State Student Council meeting held in Fort Collins. Lorren's enthusiasm, as reflected in his sparkling smile and personality, is a positive force for action whether it be at a club meeting or in the field of sports. Many sensational plays and long runs of the football season may be attributed to him. His busy schedule of co-curricular activities has not interfered with his academic progress, he has maintained a high scholastic standing throughout his years in high school. .wx 'FR BARBARA BRADY H cad Girl Barbara Brady, this year's head girl, has carried out her duties of leadership very capably and has guided West High through one of its most successful years. Bobbie, as she is called by her classmates, was one of the representatives from West at the annual national meeting held at Camp Cheeley in Estes Park this last summer. She also attended a two-day state conference on student government at Fort Collins this fall. Her quiet charm and dignity is displayed at all times whether presiding as head girl, acting as man- aging editor of the Rodeo, or performing the duties of Lieutenant Colonel in the ROTC honorary cadets. ln addition to all this, Bobbie maintains a high scholastic average.
