MARY WISTCOX Secretary V Witty and wise and everything nice is our secretary of the Senior Class, Mary Wistcox. We all agree that a more capable person than Mary could not have been found to do the task of keeping the books and minutes of our class. Mar is always ready to lend a helping hand, in a most pleasant way and iilled her position successfully. JORENE GROVER Treasurer Honors to Jorene Grover for her keen interest in the Senior Class. Jorene was chosen treasurer of the Senior Class and has really helped to make it a success, She handled the job of col- lecting Senior dues in a capable way and we, the Lights of '46, wish to express our gratitude to Jorene for do- ing her work and doing it well. Head. Girl Dorothy Hoglund Lovely to look at and nice to be with is our first semester head girl, Dorothy Hoglund. Dot served on various commit- tees, some of which are lnter - School Council, Finance and Assembly. If our lunchroom and hall conditions lagged, Dot was right there, doing everything possible to improve them. Dorothy, with her sweet and cor- dial manner, kept the friendship and admiration of all un- derclassmen as well as of Seniors. FIRST SEMESTER CLASS OFFICERS Jack Rudey Jack Rudey served Head Boy West during the first semester as a capable and willing head boy. Not only outstanding as a leader, but a hustling back on the football squad and wrestling team was our shy and bashful Jack. As head boy, Jack had a real job to do, lead- ership to establish by example, and to promote the spirit of friendliness. We are all proud of the work Jack has accomplished, espe- cially since we list him as one of our newcomers to West High. BILL BURBANK President Our first semester Senior President was tall, lanky and we might add polite Bill Burbank. Bill is one of those boys who can be depended on at any time and anywhere that he is needed. In ad- dition to being a very capable officer he served well on the football and bas- ketball teams. During the years that Bill hashbeen at West, he has made many friends both in athletics and in the sociel field. MARIE MCDONALD Vice President A super personality characterizes red- haired, good looking Marie McDonald, Vice President of the Senior Class. Marie, known for her ability to accom- plish anything she starts, assisted the president in every possible way. There was nothing that was put before her which she could not undertake, and she managed both the work of the vice- presidency and one-half of the Annual art work with ease and speed.
